This year Asset Managers have mainly been recruiting for Financial Control roles, if recruiting at all.... So this opportunity for a highly commercial role within a leading Asset Manager is definitely worth considering if you are looking for a role that partners with the business to analyse performance and drive strategy.

The role looks after the Real Estate division of the business and while specific Real Estate experience isn't required, a good knowledge of different fund structures is preferred.

In this role you will present to senior leadership so you need to have the confidence and integrity to effectively communicate with and influence non-finance personnel. In addition you must be highly analytical to provide insightful commercial analysis for the business.

As well as providing analysis to help drive strategy, you will also be responsible for the budgeting process, management of 1 qualified finance analyst and presenting divisional performance to senior management. Essentially, this is an FD role for the division.

The ideal candidate will be a chartered accountant and likely have between 3 - 5 years post qualified experience.
