Senior Infrastructure Engineer

TEKsystems are currently working in partnership with a leading financial services client to recruit an experienced 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer with expertise in Office 365 solutions such as Azure Active Directory, Intune etc. The Role Working within the IT Operations division you will report into the Head of infrastructure and bring expertise in Office 365 providing first class 3rd line, ITIL aligned support and project work while also helping shape strategy.

Could you help make it possible?

As one of our Infrastructure Engineers you will interact with both business colleagues and external suppliers to develop and support infrastructure solutions across the organisation. You will be accountable for the development of solutions to time and quality standards against the requirements of the business.

What would you be doing?

• You will lead activities to transform business requirements and specifications into capabilities and explore the infrastructure delivery options, developing design ideas as you go.
• You will lead cross organisational squads to develop capabilities and gain advocacy for your solutions through building effective working relationships.
• It's a truly collaborative set up where you'll get to discuss solutions with business customers, technical subject matter experts and vendors, to agree, develop and deliver solutions.

So what about your Infrastructure skills?

We'd be looking for varying levels of experience across several the following areas:

• Collaboration & Unified Comms (Voice, Video, SharePoint, Email)
• MS365 Product Suite (Previously Office 365 - Including but not limited to MS Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business)
• Device, Application & Data Management (Intune, Windows 10 Management)
• Office Engineering (Telemetry, Add On management & governance)
• MS365 Security Tooling
• Azure Active Directory
• Experience with Networking technologies including WAN, LAN and WiFi
• Process Automation, scripting / coding (Including but not limited to PowerShell, PowerApps, GraphAPI, Python)
• Experience with the Jira and Confluence toolsets

Beyond the technical elements

• Experience of managing cross disciplined technical teams including line management
• Strong experience of managing supplier and vendor technical services
• Excellent stakeholder management with the ability to advocate change and influence technical direction
• The ability to self-start and organise personal workload
