Professional Job Family: Administrative Professional - Not OT Eligible Position Details: Job Description Summary of Duties: Reporting to and partnering with the CEO of Washington State University's Foundation/VP of Advancement (CEO/VP), the Associate Vice President, Advancement Financial Services (AVP) will play a critical role in developing and implementing fiscal management and reporting strategies across the organization. As a member of the leadership team, the AVP will be an advisor to the CEO/VP, Board of Directors, and other relevant internal stakeholders, evaluating and assisting them with their budgeting, financial monitoring, investment strategy, planning and analysis. The AVP will serve as primary staff representative to the Audit and Finance Committees of the Board and as secondary staff representative (supporting the CEO/VP) to Investment Committee. The AVP will provide a breadth of expertise, supervision and guidance in the areas of: accounting, financial reporting and analysis, audit oversight and management, policy development, compliance, budgeting and forecasting and investment management. Required Qualifications: Positions require a Master's Degree in a related field and a minimum of eight (8) years of related professional fundraising/development experience in a complex organization, with preference given to experience in a higher education setting. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis. Additional Requirements:
