Job Summary

CBRE is in the process of further developing and globally expanding our core technology products. We're looking for a results-driven and collaborative Product Manager to take a pivotal role in this effort and join our Digital & Technology (D&T) team.

Who are you?

The person must have a proven history of working directly with customers to deliver products that generate immediate value. This position is strongly cross-functional in nature, requiring strong working relationships with multiple teams, including External Customers, Accountable Executives, Engineering, and Operations. Effective communication, technical know-how and a track record of successful technology project delivery are key.

Your Day To Day

You are responsible for delivering the data that makes our MyVantage clients successful. MyVantage is a visualization tool that relies on data coming from multiple internal and external sources. You will engage clients to determine what data they need and how we can access it. You will lead the client through the solutioning process and will work with the engineering team to ensure that the data is available, accurate and up to date. You are responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction via ongoing maintenance, prioritization, and on-time delivery of new features. This will require you to:

  • Regularly interact with customers, distill actionable insights, then use that to develop a roadmap
  • Understand and articulate the product strategy and direction
  • Develop and prioritize a product backlog, including tradeoffs to ensure delivery
  • Work closely with engineers to ensure high-quality and on-time solutions are delivered
  • Participate in global platform discussions to see where your tools can add value

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED EXPERIENCE Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a related field of work or equivalent work experience
  • Typically has 10+ years of relevant work experience, including previous experience leading a project.

Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years experience in product management, program management or technology
  • Experience in Agile / Scrum methodologies
  • Experience defining a product roadmap, vision and strategy
  • Experience with backlog creation and management
  • Technical competency - able to understand and participate in engineering decisions
  • Experience with end-to-end application delivery
  • 5+ years commercial real estate experience
  • Ability to present your products to external customers, including senior management
  • Ability to cover gaps that may exist within the team to get the product shipped
