Postdoctoral Research Associate Near-Field Infrared Nanospectroscopy

Why Work at BNL? Organizational Overview Position Description The holder of this position will contribute to the development, commissioning, and operation of AFM-based near-field infrared (NFIR) nanospectroscopy instruments, operating both at room and cryogenic temperatures, and capable of spanning a broad spectral range using NSLS-II as a high-brightness synchrotron infrared source. These instruments are intended to serve the quantum materials and QIS communities. The position project is a direct collaboration with NFIR experts at Stony Brook University and Columbia University.
