The unit also has responsibilities in cybersecurity, backups, administration of the Libraries Services Platform (library catalog) and database administration. Serves as lead Libraries' Linux web services administrator to oversee web server configurations, maintenance, and application/site security. Provides advanced support as application developer to design, configure, test, optimize, and troubleshoot unique and complex applications and web services. Coordinates activities with other members of the IT department in support of the Libraries IT infrastructure and operations.
