Position Summary: Situated within Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences (RBHS), the Institute for Health, Health Care Policy, and Aging Research (IFH) invites applications and nominations for the Director of the Center for Healthy Aging (CHA). The Director will report directly to the IFH director and play a key leadership role in advancing the mission of the Institute within RBHS, Rutgers University – New Brunswick, as well as Newark, Camden campus and the greater New Jersey region and beyond. The Director will be a visionary scholar of national stature with a strong aging research orientation who can lead the Center and foster collaborations with other academic and research units of the University. Building on the Institute's tremendous history and playing a vital role in bridging multiple disciplines across Rutgers, Barnabas Health System and New Jersey, the Director will have the opportunity and resources to develop the Center into a nationally and internationally recognized entity. The director will work collaboratively with IFH and Rutgers leadership, faculty and staff to cohesively articulate a vision for the future of healthy aging and to have sustained impact at the local, state and national level.
