Manager, Predoctoral Dental Education The American Dental Association is dedicated to promoting the public's health through its initiatives in research, education, advocacy, public awareness and the development of standards. The Manager, Predoctoral Dental Education, is responsible for managing the consultation and accreditation activities for U.S.-based predoctoral dental education programs and dental therapy education programs. The Manager also serves as staff secretary for the Review Committee on Predoctoral Dental Education. As needed, the position also assists the Director in managing the consultation activities for international dental education programs and in supporting the Standing Committee on International Accreditation. This position provides primary staff support for the area of predoctoral dental and dental therapy education, including:
This position staffs several accreditation site visits each year and writes site visit reports. This position is also responsible for planning and coordinating site visitor training and provides consultation to programs preparing for their site visits. The Manager is required to be trained annually in the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliance policies and procedures. Minimum Qualifications:
