The Office of the Vice President of Finance and Administration at City Tech welcomes applications for Executive Director for Accounting and Business Operations.The Executive Directorreports to the Vice President forAdministration and Finance,and isresponsible foroverseeingtheCollege's businessoperations. The Executive Directorworks collaborativelywith the Assistant Vice President for Budget & Finance oninternal and external audits andpreparesaudit responses;interactswithCUNY, state, city and federal officials on business matters and practices of theCollege; andadministers thecollege association and auxiliary enterprise operations. Duties include but are not limited to: -Oversee the college budgets and Financial Plan. -Oversee the preparationof materialsfor external and internal audits.
-Manage the Board Resolution process for purchases according to the mandated threshold amount.
QUALIFICATIONS This position is in CUNY???s Executive Compensation Plan. All executive positions require a minimum of a Bachelor???s degree and eight years??? related experience. A CPA orMaster's degreein Accountingis preferred.Appropriate administrative experience that would support an executive appointment is also required. Strong communications skills, as well as excellent interpersonal,analytical, strategic and staff management skills, plus a minimum of eight (8) years of relevantexperience are required for the position.
