• Partnering closely with the Executive Director to plan, manage & oversee IT implementations.


• Responsible for outlining tasks, task sequencing, needed resources & to define an achievable implementation timeline;


• Monitoring, raising & addressing concerns for the project budget;


• Developing & maintaining adherence to the project charter & guiding principles;


• Overseeing technical resources throughout the projectlife cycle, assuring adherence to timeline, budget, and guiding principles


• Identifying, strategizing & executing change management needs throughout the implementation;


• Managingproject risks, issues and barriers. Mitigating where possible & escalating to the Executive Director in a timely manner when needed;


• Partnering with Executive Director to leverage project governance for issue resolution;


• Providing open communication and status updates to Executive Director on a routine basis

• Working with teams across ITG, OHSU and OHSU Health leadership and key stakeholders, oversee IT healthcare projects


• Coach resources who will lead discovery meetings, document requirements, develop project plans, resource work, and coordinate execution.


• Ensure projects are on track and on budget, and that customers receive timely communication about the status of projects and emerging risks; provide regularly scheduled project updates to leadership.


• Review project metrics and evaluation plans, and ensure implementation meets goals and objectives.

• Promote and facilitate teamwork and maintain high level of satisfaction within project team members throughout project lifecycle (planning, execution, monitoring/control, and closing).


• Utilize change management and facilitation strategies to ensure team buy-in, championship, and shared accountability.


• Communicates project information to project stakeholders, management, and executive leadership.

Education:

Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline or related IT implementation field experience.

Experience:

• 10 years program or project management experience.


• 7 years of experience in a complex technology environment.


• 3 years of experience in a health care setting.
