The USC Keck School of Medicine - Alzheimer Therapeutic Research Institute (ATRI), located in San Diego, California is an academic institute comprised of an expert panel of scientific collaborators committed to advancing the development of new treatments for Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) through innovative clinical trials. 

ATRI currently has an opportunity for a Clinical Trial Financial Analyst to support the Finance Department.  Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Mange clinical trial site payments and serve as primary liaison between clinical trial sites and multiple internal teams to meet goals, standards, and deadlines
• Respond to customer needs and complaints.
• Issues and submits invoices for protocol-related items and patient-related expenses per the executed contract. Works with internal teams to resolve queries regarding invoices and/or payments due.
• Collect, track, reconcile, and evaluate clinical trial site activity.
• Analyze and track data to prepare forecasts.
• Participate in study closeout process.  Complies information and documents needed for audit inquiries.
• Understand, apply, and advise on university and government policies for projects.
• Interface with cross-functional finance team such as Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Serves as a resource on subject area and overall technical resource to Finance Director and other University staff.
• Provide support to the Finance Team, as needed.
• May identify bottlenecks in core value processes and provide advice to improve processes and productivity.
• Develop or contribute to SOPs related to the clinical trial site payments operations.
