The position requires someone with excellent computer, social media, data management and analytical skills; solid communication and academic support abilities; strong customer service orientation; and an ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and problem solve. It also requires learning and adapting to changing technical needs of the department and the position. Previous experience in an academic setting and technology support desired. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about computer science education and research, aiding students in their career trajectories and faculty in their teaching and scholarly missions.
The Department Manager also manages the day-to-day operations of the Computer Science Department by providing administrative support to the Chair and Departmental faculty.
