 University of California Irvine HS Assistant, Associate or Full Professor-GI Division and Digestive Health Institute. The University of California, Irvine is seeking candidates in the Health Science Clinical Professor series, at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor levels with expertise in Esophageal Motility and Foregut Diseases to join our expanding GI Division and Digestive Health Institute. Candidates will be joining our established Comprehensive Digestive Disease Center, Comprehensive Heartburn Center, and Foregut Team. The Foregut team currently includes 1 Esophageal motility faculty, 4 Foregut surgeons, 2 Foregut interventional endoscopists, 1 Foregut Medical Oncologist, and 1 Interventional PA. The UCI Digestive Health Institute under the leadership of Kenneth Chang, M.D., has clinical sites throughout Orange County, a population of 3.2 million, with a second medical campus to open in 2023. The GI Division of the Department of Medicine. This position affords leadership and research opportunities in the expanding Motility program. Candidates must have or be eligible for a California Medical License. Candidates must also be board-certified Internal Medicine and Board-certified/board eligible in Gastroenterology. The position will include outpatient and inpatient consultations, procedures, interpretation of esophageal manometry studies, supervision of fellows and residents, teaching, and clinical research.
