The College of Health and Human Services at George Mason University is launching the delivery of clinical and preventive health care services in its Population Health Center (PHC) to serve various community groups, including historically under-resourced community and student populations. Located on George Mason University's Fairfax campus, the PHC will be delivering academic health care initially focusing on integrated primary care, behavioral health, and nutrition and weight management provided by the College's faculty while working with students. Providers include nurse practitioners, physicians, social workers, and registered dietitians and are supported by state-of-the-art clinical facilities. This position reports directly to the College's Dean and is a member of the College's Senior Leadership Council. About the Position: The Managing Executive Director of the PHC's position will provide visionary leadership, direction and administration of operations, as well as day-to-day management and oversight for the organization's administrative, clinical and facilities operations. This newly created position carries an exciting and unique opportunity for outcomes-focused leadership to help design and build the delivery of clinical services provided by Mason faculty, while providing experiential learning for students. This opportunity includes responsibility and oversight for organizational development to ensure the administration of effective services meeting compliance requirements, facilities expansions, and negotiating and managing support contracts (e.g., billing and electronic medical record). The position also will be involved with the development and implementation of the PHC's strategic plan with oversight for organizational development to ensure effective services are administered and provided to the patients/clients seeking services.
