Position Summary Description Responsible for the coordination of activities supporting transmission service to Seminole’s Members, third-party Transmission Service Providers, and neighboring systems. Review, evaluate and recommend modifications, as necessary, to the components of the transmission tariff to third-party users of Seminole’s transmission system, in coordination with Seminole’s Rate Department. Coordinate annual loss factor verification for third-party Transmission Service Providers. Responsible for tracking and ensuring adherence to all requirements within Seminole’s transmission service agreements with third parties. Facilitate review of and provide meaningful input and recommendations on activities impacting transmission rates of third-party Transmission Service Providers, and their respective service agreements, including the transmission formula rate annual update process and all other Transmission provider rate filings submitted with FERC. Keep apprised of and champion the necessary changes to Seminole processes and procedures in connection with changes in Federal, State and Cooperative guidelines, policies and procedures.
Essential Functions
Working Conditions Some travel and work outside of normal business hours. While working in substations there are the potential for exposure to hazards typical of a utility working environment. Must be able to follow established protective measures including, recognizing risk and properly wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications and Education Requirements BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or Industrial Engineering. Eight (8) years of progressive experience in electric utility environment including at least five (5) years of direct experience in utility rates or transmission policy related to an electric utility environment, three (3) years of experience in transmission planning experience preferred. Familiarity with matters relating to FERC, uniform system of accounts (USoA), Open Access Transmission Tariffs (OATT) and transmission markets. General knowledge of transmission rate development practices. Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree is a plus.
