Professional Job Family: Administrative Professional - OT Eligible Position Details: Summary of Duties: The Pre-Clerkship Assessment and Learning Design Specialist functions as the operations lead for the unit, planning, organizing and coordinating the operations for the Assessment program by supporting faculty in the design, development and delivery of the medical school curriculum based upon best practices. The incumbent will support faculty and administration with course design and instructional approaches to ensure students meet desired learning outcomes. The incumbent will work closely with faculty, staff, and clinical campus locations to ensure all aspects of the MD Program (curriculum and assessment) are coordinated consistently across the distributed campuses and clinical locations, including schedules, Curriculum Management systems (CMS) and learner dashboard. This position will specifically support the assessment requirements in Years 1 and 2 of the curriculum, ensuring compliance with WSU and LCME standards and regulations per FERPA. Scope of Duties: 40% Program Assessment Leadership 25% Student Performance Analysis and Intervention 10% Supervision 10% Compliance and Quality Assurance 10% Assessment Administration and Records Retention 5% Other Required Qualifications: A Master's degree and two (2) years of professional experience that has included designing and facilitating learning opportunities for diverse groups, educational assessment, maintaining learning environments and communities (may or may not be technology enhanced), and best practices in teaching and learning.
