Summary of Duties: Reporting to the Director, Budget & Operations, the Fiscal Specialist 1 will perform complex and unique duties for Advancement Financial Services. The Fiscal Specialist 1 will be responsible for recording all deposits from the WSU Foundation (WSUF), as well as executing distributions for all deposits in holding accounts. They will remote deposit all check transactions and receive and distribute all donations that have been remote deposited from other system campuses. They are responsible for verifying funds deposited and working with stakeholders within WSUF and the Bursar's Office to make corrections. In addition, this person will provide administrative, operational, and financial support, including serving as backup for other members of the WSUF Advancement Financial Services team on a variety of duties related to financial transactions and gift processing activities.
