Determines strategies for clinical affairs and medical staff governance programs with organization-wide impact. Determines objectives, directs programs, develops strategies and policies, and functions with a high degree of autonomy. Collaborates and drives consensus through multiple stakeholders such as medical staff, clinical chairs, deans office, and the office of medical affairs and governance. Proactively assesses risk to establish systems and procedures to protect organizational assets. Determines strategies to integrate and expand outreach opportunities with UCSF Health system and Affiliate Network goals and service expectations. Accountable to the Affiliates Network CMO for the overall administrative planning and coordination of the staffing, fiscal and material resources. Oversees the establishment of systems to maintain provider data, monitor credentialing processes, complaint resolution, and regulatory compliance.
