The VP for Finance & Administration/CFO is the chief financial officer responsible for developing the university’s overall financial policies and setting the strategic direction of all financial functions including accounting, budget, credit, insurance, tax, and treasury. The VP for Finance & Administration/CFO ensures that proper financial controls are in place and that financial transactions support the overall business strategy while conforming with applicable laws and regulations. The VP for Finance & Administration/CFO is also the chief business officer responsible for exceptional leaders in: Human Resources, Information & Media Technology, Facilities Management, and Auxiliary Services. He or she is responsible for setting divisional strategy for areas within the span of care, defining vision and strategy while providing direction and focus. Executing multiple high-impact initiatives to achieve overall university goals, the VP for Finance & Administration/CFO is responsible for planning and directing all aspects of the university’s staff and service functions and ensures the operations of the university are within a secure, efficient, and organized work environment.
