IRIS Business Analyst, Department of Technology Solutions

The IRIS Administrative Support Office of the University of Tennessee is seeking a qualified individual to fill the role of IRIS Business Analyst. This position works as part of the IRIS team that is responsible for the security, documentation, help desk, training and other support for the University's enterprise-wide software solutions which impact employees throughout the University of Tennessee statewide system.

Responsibilities:

• Provision, remove, edit, and monitor user access to the IRIS system.
• Monitor the shared IRIS security inbox and work with campus contacts to resolve issues.
• Create and edit end-user roles.
• Monitor system logs and custom audit reports for system integrity.
• Execute workflow monitoring transactions to address bottlenecks, errors, work-item duplication, etc.
• Engage with work items routed to the Security Administrators due to various reasons (terminations, transfers, etc.) and work with campus contacts to determine the actions required for resolution.
• Provide customer support to end users of the Enterprise-Wide Software Systems via email, phone, and TeamDynamix (TDX) ticketing software system.
• Update the status of requests in the Help Desk email account and TDX ticketing software system.
• Research and analyze business functionality of the University's new and existing software systems and related components, including upgrades and reported problems.
• Develop and implement testing scenarios to ensure software systems function as expected after implementation of enhancements and upgrades; develop potential solutions if the functionality does not work as anticipated.
• Participate in the research, testing, and implementation of the University's new ERP system.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
