Summary: Under the direction of the Vice President, MN Strategic Integration, the Executive Director, MN Business Development is responsible for taking the lead role in building the Cedars-Sinai Medical Network's high quality, integrated provider network in target markets and emerging new markets as defined by the Cedars-Sinai strategic growth plan. This position is responsible for cross promotion of physicians to drive market share among Cedars-Sinai Medical Care Foundation affiliates and facilities as well as Cedars-Sinai affiliated hospitals and ancillary outpatient sites of care. The Executive Director is responsible for collaborating with key external and internal stakeholders to ensure the effective execution of network development and strategic growth initiatives related to physician acquisitions and IPA affiliations, and works collaboratively across diverse and developing MN markets in the broader Los Angeles region (Beverly Hills, West Los Angeles, Santa Monica, Culver City, Los Feliz/Hillhurst, San Fernando Valley and San Gabriel Valley). The Executive Director is a highly visible leader responsible for understanding and managing variability in physician infrastructure across markets to inform the development of nuanced, multi-year business plans to scale the outpatient enterprise in collaboration with the strategic growth and expansion of Cedars-Sinai. The Executive Director directs and supervises the performance of the MN business development and physician recruitment management team, and will take the lead in the development of team resources across markets to support key Cedars-Sinai patient care initiatives
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Educational Requirements: Master's Degree in Public Health or Health Services Administration is preferred. Experience: 10 years Progressive health care experience - preferably within a managed care setting, with a proven track record in physician recruitment and relations, new program development and strategic planning or related experience.2 years Experience in a leadership role, supervising staff. Physical Demands:Lifting, Standing, walking, sitting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, stooping, balancing, kneeling, crouching, handling, grasping, hearing, talking. The physical ability and perceptive acuity to satisfactorily perform all direct and indirect patient care functions. Must be able to perform assigned duties in a demanding work environment.
