Reporting to the Associate Director, HR Operations and Client Services, the incumbent will be responsible for providing strategic and operational management for key HR operational functions supporting the Client Services team. The Generalist will work with the Associate Director to provide timely delivery of HR services to schools and departments across campus.
Responsibilities
Work with the Associate Director on the evaluation and approval of all job descriptions, position questionnaires, and lead worker questionnaires including, title changes, upgrades, downgrades, etc., to ensure consistency across schools and departments, university compliance, and FLSA requirements.
Work with Labor Relations to understand bargaining unit requirements.
Assist the Associate Director in creating templates and training to ensure schools and departments understand expectations for all job descriptions, positions questionnaires, and lead worker questionnaires.
Provide access approval, job postings, and candidate evaluation and approval in the applicant tracking system (TalentLink). Develop mechanisms to support data integrity and ensure consistency.
Provide Sr. Human Resources Business Partners support for position eliminations and re-organizations.
Support the Associate Director in the development and timely delivery of reports and analytics from HR systems involving employee data including but not limited to hiring & selection, turnover, performance, pay, employee engagement, EEO, and Affirmative Action. Provide ad hoc reports through reporting tools such as PSFT query, Access, and Excel in support of HR initiatives.
Work with the Associate Director to resolve questions and issues presented through the Human Resources Service Center portal. Triage tickets among and to the various Senior Human Resources Business Partners and Human Resources Generalists, from all campuses.
Assist the Associate Director with investigations, including background research, scheduling interviews, and debrief meetings.
Partner closely with other CUHR units to research appropriate courses of action and resolve issues.
Contribute to the proactive review and implementation of process improvement efforts to increase effectiveness and create efficiencies.
Build strong partnerships to foster trust and accountability with stakeholders across all schools and departments.
Participate in team-wide HR-related projects.

Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor???s degree and/or related experience is required. A minimum of three years of related experience is required; preferably in HR Operations, Compensation, and/or Employee Relations.
