Electronic Records and Health Information currently has an outstanding opportunity for a PAYER RELEASE ANALYST. Under the general supervision of the Release of Information Supervisor, the Payer Release Analyst is responsible for implementing the mission and goals of the Enterprise Records and Health Information, and incorporating information governance principles whenever appropriate. The Payer Release Analyst position is responsible for assisting with electronic records access and payer release initiatives and audits, including the legal medical record and designated record sets. The Payer Release Analyst is also responsible for communicating with UW Medicine Compliance, Patient Financial Services and others, about the status of release projects and process timelines. The Payer Release Analyst is responsible for ensuring accurate analysis of records being released, and prevents unauthorized disclosures. The Payer Release Analyst is responsible for developing and interpreting productivity metrics, and assists in meeting fiscal and clinical transformation goals. RESPONSIBILITIES: REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree and two years of records analysis experience, including experience with medical records. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted, year-for-year, for required education. Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration. DESIRED: |
