![]() Research Administrator/Fiscal Analyst Title: 143K-YN - Fiscal Analyst 3 Business Title: Research Administrator/Fiscal Analyst Additional Titles: Location: WSU TRI-CITIES CAMPUS Employee Type: Classified Job Family: Civil Service - OT Eligible Position Details: Summary of Duties: This senior-level position independently plans, coordinates and conducts fiscal, grants or contractual reviews of the comprehensive fiscal and manual accounting systems in accordance with funding agency, university, state, and/or federal regulations. This position approves sponsored project expenditure transactions and payroll allocations in accordance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, guidelines, institutional policies and best practices. The Grants Coordinator contributes to the development of proposal submissions through the Office of Research Operations and Support (ORSO) and works closely with the pre-award grant administrator in all matters relating to sponsored projects. The Grants Coordinator leads and trains campus-wide fiscal related professional staff in maintaining and recording sponsored project fiscal data in compliance with institutional policies and best practices. Required Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree, which includes 18 quarter or 12 semester hours in accounting, auditing, or budgeting and two (2) years of relevant professional experience, or equivalent education/experience.
