The Johns Hopkins Center for Communications Programs (CCP) is seeking a Financial Analyst (FA) to join its Finance & Operations team and play a vital role in the fiscal and administrative management of the Center's non-sponsored portfolio, which includes general funds, gifts, and discretionary funds. The Financial Analyst (FA) reports to the Director of Finance and Operations (DFO) and will have financial accountability of the department's non-sponsored funds up to 100% LOE. This FA may also support some entry to mid-level sponsored projects but always less than 40% LOE.
The Financial Analyst will provide professional non-sponsored fund management and analysis at least 60% of the time. The position will be responsible for financial transactions, performing moderately complex statistical, cost, and financial analysis of financial reports and data, and preparing reports for CCP leadership and project managers. The ideal candidate will manage the project and salary budget projections for the Center's non-sponsored accounts.
They will provide support and guidance to program/project directors and managers on all matters concerning budgets for non-sponsored accounts, including assistance in preparing the annual budget documents, reconciliations, and accounting.

* JHU Equivalency Formula: 30 undergraduate degree credits (semester hours) or 18 graduate degree credits may substitute for one year of experience. Additional related experience may substitute for the required education on the same basis. For jobs where equivalency is permitted, up to two years of non-related college course work may be applied towards the total minimum education/experience required for the respective job.

The pre-employment physical for positions in clinical areas, laboratories, working with research subjects, or involving community contact requires documentation of immune status against Rubella (German measles), Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Varicella (chickenpox), Hepatitis B and documentation of having received the Tdap (Tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis) vaccination. This may include documentation of having two (2) MMR vaccines; two (2) Varicella vaccines; or antibody status to these diseases from laboratory testing.
