Boston University's School of Public Health is looking for a Data Analyst to join their Biostatistics team! The ideal candidate for this role will be able to:
Apply standard (e.g., regression analyses) and advanced statistical (e.g., machine learning or trajectory analyses) methods to identify risk factors for age-related diseases
Perform data management, including extraction and cleaning of raw data, derivation of new variables, labelling and formatting of raw and derived variables, and multiple imputation
Prepare study results for inclusion in conference presentations, grants, and scientific publications
MS in Biostatistics, Statistics, Computational Biology, or equivalent
1-3 years of experience in data analyses
Proficiency in R or SAS or scripting language
Knowledge in Genetics/Bioinformatics/age-related diseases (e.g., Alzheimer's disease or cardiovascular disease)/linux a plus but not required
Excellent communications skills
