The Research Financial Analyst (RFA) reports to the Associate Director, Finance and Operations (ADFO) and provides post-award support for grants administration, accounting and purchasing. These services include a variety of post-award financial reports, payroll reconciliation, pre and post award administration. The RFA is responsible for providing high-level financial analyses and management to a defined group of faculty for their portfolio of sponsored awards. The RFA works independently to assess complex grant, contract and subcontract transactions where analysis requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. The RFA serves as the faculty members single point of contact for research financial issues and ensures that faculty are provided with high quality, efficient, responsive, and responsible post-award research administration services. The RFA may serve as an approver for smaller reimbursements and Bear Buy purchasing requests.
