Weatherford CPA firm is looking for a talented professional to join their team. Ideally looking to hire experienced accountant with minimum 1-3 years previous experience. The position is centered around tax preparation and includes (but not limited to) other accounting services within financial statements, IRS correspondence, and client advisory. Responsibilities:
Prepare tax returns
Research tax laws and regulations
Work closely with clients to address tax and accounting needs
Utilize and develop an understanding of our tax software and technology
Ensure security and confidentiality pertaining to client matters
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Organizational and time management skills
Keen attention to detail and accuracy when completing tasks
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in accounting or related field
CPA or CPA candidate
1-3 years previous public accounting experience
QuickBooks experience
