The Division Order Analyst will develop, prepare, and maintain complex divisions of interests and revenue payment decks for working interest and royalty owners to be used for the Northeast’s distribution of proceeds received from the sale of natural gas produced from its operated unconventional wells. The ongoing maintenance of Northeast’s existing division of interest payment decks. Experience in the review and understanding of title opinions is essential.
Communications with royalty owners regarding their net revenue interests and related royalty payments
Assistance in the review of property tax tickets and redemptions notices received to ensure property taxes are correctly processed and redemptions are made when appropriate
Review of property tax reimbursements to royalty owners to ensure payments are made pursuant to the respective lease terms
The position requires strong technical skills in Microsoft Excel and land-based management and accounting systems. The candidate must possess strong communication skills to be used during daily interactions with the company’s land administration, finance personnel, and interest holders.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Development, preparation, and maintenance of Divisions of Interests for Northeast’s operated horizontal wells;
Communications with royalty owners.
Coordination of title review, completion of curative items, and resolution of ownership issues with Company Land Operations, Land Administration, and Finance personnel.
Work closely with Landmen, Lease Analysts and interest holders to ensure curative requirements for all interests are being met, documented, and recorded.
Assist with the review of property tax tickets and property tax redemption notices received to ensure tickets/notices are processed and paid correctly, assist with the determination of the property tax reimbursements, when applicable, to royalty owners, and assist with the review of delinquent property tax records to ensure no delinquencies exist and to determine if opportunities exist to purchase delinquent property tax interests.
Highly developed land/title, analytical, and communications skills.
Bachelor's degree required and a minimum of three years experience with development and preparation of Divisions of Interest for unconventional horizontal wells
Strong experience in reviewing and understanding title abstracts and title opinions
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, other Microsoft Office applications, and Zoom; Experience with Integra is ideal

Aptitude for advanced deductive reasoning and speaking in public. Hearing and eyesight ability within normal parameters, dexterity, flexibility, and ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Requires prolonged sitting at a desk using a computer and other office equipment.
