Special Instructions to ApplicantsIn addition to your application, please include the following: Position SummaryThe Finance and Operations Manager (FOM) reports to and provides direct financial and operational assistance to the Assistant Dean of Finance and Operations (ADFO) in the SOJC. This position also works regularly with SOJC administration, faculty, and other staff members to provide training and guidance on business and financial policies, processes, and procedures. This position coordinates directly with the Central Business Service Office (CBSO), shared with the College of Design and Clark Honors College, to review and approve SOJC accounts payable, purchasing, contracting, and travel requests. The FOM independently manages all accounts receivable, scholarship processing and tracking, and contract review/approvals. This position also serves as budget authority designee for all SOJC Concur procurement cards, reviewing and approving all line item transactions.

Minimum Requirements• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a similar field, OR 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance Professional Competencies• A customer service-oriented approach to assisting others Preferred Qualifications• Experience working in a higher education institution FLSA Exempt: Yes |
