What You Will Do: Reporting to the Associate Dean for Administration, this position provides data reporting and analysis to primarily support Cornell Engineering's educational objectives, in particular department/unit assessment of program effectiveness and development of strategies for improving initiatives based on findings. The Data Analyst recommends and leads solutions that contribute to strategic planning efforts related to education assessment and represents the college data reporting needs on various committees and projects. Responsibilities include survey development; data collection and analysis; conducting internal and industry research; developing conclusions and creating final reports and visual representations for formal presentations; coordinating and providing support for college units. Identifies key Cornell Engineering facts for use on college website, reports and presentations ensuring alignment across multiple platforms. What We Need:
Work Arrangement: This position's home location is Cornell's campus in Ithaca, New York. We are open to flexible work opportunities for a hybrid workweek of on-campus and remote days or for a remote workweek where the successful applicant would be expected to be on campus for certain events, such as but not limited to team building, training, etc. The New York Convenience of Employer guidelines require New York State individual tax reporting and withholdings for this position. Additional individual state income tax filings may also be required if working temporarily outside New York State.
