Summary and Scope of Position: The Associate Vice-President for Student Affairs (AVP) is a full-time position that reports to the Vice-President of Student Affairs and Dean of Students (VPSA/DOS). The AVP works across campus to develop student experiences, processes, and policies that are inclusive and align with the division’s model for learning beyond the classroom. The AVP will work closely with the VPSA/DOS to develop the division’s annual report, identify areas for assessment, and implement quantitative and qualitative tools to tell the division’s story. The AVP coordinates with enrollment management on the handoff of students from depositing to starting classes and provide regular retention and attrition reports to campus stakeholders.
