8. May serve as property custodian for the department.

Student Housing & Residential Life

Program Manager 2 – Housing Operations

SUMMARY

Under the supervision of the Assistant Director for Housing Operations & Customer Service, the Program Manager for Housing Operations provides support to all areas of Housing Operations.  This position provides leadership and development for the housing management system (RMS/Mercury) and directs and leads the Department in utilization of Department SharePoint site.   The position will also serve to support multiple areas to include facilities operations, conference services, guest housing, and risk and emergency management.   

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Supports the Director, and/or Associate/Assistant Directors by providing administrative services, such as creating and monitoring tracking reports for activities related to Student Housing & Residential Life programs, including conference services, guest housing, facilities operations, customer service, Mercury database management, assignments, and accounts.  
• Administers and manages rental and contract agreements for education and general space on campus. Follows up to ensure payments and agreement terms are fulfilled.  
• Manages housing management database, RMS/Mercury: the extraction of data, and the dissemination of appropriate information with internal and external audiences, original forms, applications, templates, and resolve issues as they arise.  
• Creates work orders and other business documents on behalf of the Student Housing & Residential Life Directors, Assistant, and Associate Directors and monitors progress related to Guest Housing, Conference Service, food service, delivery services, card office, and other campus partnerships.  
• Manages small renovation projects and facility refreshes in housing spaces under the direction of the Student Housing & Residential Life Directors, Assistant and Associate Directors.  
• Manages electronic filing system for the office, and in particular, leads Department in development of Office 365 including Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and etc.  
• Assist in the administration, planning and execution of housing assignments, billing functions, and the housing database.  
• Assists in the planning, coordinating, maintaining, and updated of department risk and emergency plans including training programs, SHRL access management collaboration, and the Business Continuity Planning Process.  
• Performs other job-related duties as required.
