This position is responsible for managing the financial and accounting functions of the University at Buffalo Foundation and its affiliated corporations (UBF) having total assets in excess of $1.3 billion and the administration of annual revenues that range from $150-250 million. Areas of responsibility include accounting, reconciling, budget development and tracking, capital expenditures and debt financing. Minimum Qualifications: CPA or Master's degree in business, management or related field required. Five or more years' experience in not-for-profit administration/management. Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, especially as they relate to a not-for-profit organization. Knowledge of applicable regulations/policies/reporting related to not-for-profits. Proven effectiveness leading professionals in finance and accounting. Proficient working knowledge of the Microsoft office suite. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in public higher education.
