Location: West Hartford, CT Category: Staff Posted On: Thu Jun 2 2022 Job Description: This full-time, 12-month position is responsible for the academic advising of specified groups of first and second year students as assigned. The caseload of this position is between 130-150 students, and the advisor meets individually with assigned students on a regular basis to develop and monitor educational plans and goals. The advisor will monitor the progress of their caseload throughout the academic year through the use of Jenzabar and MyUSJ. The advisor will also work directly with students on academic probation, academic warning, and with students who receive academic alerts. This advisor will be responsible for serving as the advising contact for the Hartford Promise organization, and for meeting with the Hartford Promise USJ Student Ambassadors and student participants. The advisor may also serve on University-wide committees, including but not limited to the Calendar Committee, the University Curriculum Committee, and the Veteran Affairs Committee. Additional Information: The anticipated salary range for this position will be $48,000 to $54,000 per year. The final offer will be based on the candidate's experience and qualifications. Benefits:
