This job order closes on 8/8/22.POSITION OBJECTIVE:Responsible for the development of new analytics, metrics, and reports on diverse datasets to deduce insights and solve real-world business problems. This includes designing databases and ensuring their stability, reliability, and performance. The Data Analyst should be an advocate for implementing best practice reporting to our various departments across the organization. They will have end-to-end accountability for business intelligence deliverables: analytics and reporting using Excel, SQL, Access and Tableau tools, back-end and front-end development and support activities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform data analytics with large volumes of data, including data cleansing, validation, testing; Storytelling and advanced problem solving. Collaborate with executive staff, colleagues, developers, and department supervisors/managers to understand business problem and design high quality analytics solutions. Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements and suggest new queries. Development of high-quality database solutions. Develop procedures and scripts for data migration. Use advanced technical skills to retrieve, manipulate, analyze, and interpret substantial amounts of data. Ability to build scalable systems and solutions that analyze huge data sets and make actionable recommendations. Scripting/programming with languages such as (VBA, Python, C++) as needed. Critical thinking skills to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions; ability to understand and foresee implications of new information for current and future problems solving. An unquenchable intellectual curiosity for getting at the underlying story being told within complex datasets. Strong written and verbal communications skills. Ability to persuade, inform, and influence others based on findings. A history of taking complex results and communicating them in an easily understood way.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:Skills and knowledge normally acquired through a bachelor’s degree in a related field. A solid understanding of mathematical concepts and a high degree of skill in data manipulation and multiple step logic is required. Exceptional understanding of Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL programing as well as good know ledge of HTML and JavaScript. Communication skills and the ability to understand a wide range of perspectives is critical. Detail orientation and mental focus are necessary skills. This job order closes on 8/2/22. |
