Overview: Capital Group is recruiting for an experienced Counsel to join its Litigation Legal team. This is an opportunity to join a prestigious legal department at one of the largest asset managers in the world. Capital Group is an evolving business in a highly regulated environment; this team is involved in guiding decisions that will make a major impact on the business. The Legal team is comprised of 29 attorneys, with 22 in the US. It is a highly collaborative group, and the candidate will work closely in Los Angeles with the head of litigation, Chief Legal Officer, and colleagues globally. The candidate’s responsibilities will include the areas of employment and commercial litigation. Candidates must have experience with employment law, commercial litigation management and eDiscovery. Exceptional academic credentials, JD degree and admittance to California bar required.
