The Research Data Analyst position will be responsible for data management and analysis activities for the Malaria Elimination Initiative (MEI), with a focus on MEI's clinical trials and observational studies. Studies include: cluster randomized controlled trials, individually randomized controlled trials, cross sectional studies, surveillance studies, and the development and evaluation of decision-support tools. Major funders of these projects include NIH/NIAID (U01 mechanism), The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Global Fund for AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria, and United States President's Malaria Initiative.
The Research Data Analyst will support data gathering, analyzing, and interpretation. The Research Data Analyst will design and conduct research including selecting data samples, developing analysis plans and research instruments, analyzing collected information according to established statistical methods, and developing recommendations based on research findings. The Research Data Analyst will prepare reports, charts, tables, and other visual aids to interpret and communicate data and results.
