The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine is a dynamic and innovative center dedicated to excellence in research, medical education, and clinical care. Our division is driven by over 90 faculty who are the pillar of strength in the Division's ongoing efforts for the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease. The Division is expanding its finance team that serves as the hub for all financial activities - sponsored and non-sponsored research and clinical activity associated with patient care. We seek a Research Administrator (Research Administrator 1) who will manage the post-award activities for a large volume and diverse set of complex federal and non-federal sponsored research projects, involving multiple principal investigators, sub-awards, and/or cross-school initiatives and clinical care financials. They will serve as a key resource for faculty, fellows, postdocs, and staff to assist with questions that arise during the post-award grant process, or with a faculty member's clinical activity. The candidate will be a key member of the finance team and serve as a liaison between faculty and staff in the division and with key stakeholders outside the division. The ideal candidate should enjoy interacting and collaborating with many diverse stakeholders and teams; be able to follow through in a fast-paced environment; adapt well to changing priorities; employ critical thinking in daily tasks; have excellent organizational, project management and interpersonal skills; attention to detail; and a commitment to the principles of justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion. This position will be based on the Stanford campus and is eligible for hybrid and/or remote opportunities (working on-site and working from home) subject to operational need. Duties include:
