Department OverviewThe mission of the Information Technology Group (ITG) is to develop, implement and maintain technology-based services and solutions enabling OHSU to effectively manage information to accomplish its missions. OHSU Hospital Financial Services is refining its budgeting, forecasting, and reporting systems as part of a broader effort in support of the expansion of the OHSU Healthcare System. Satisfying this need will include deployment of on-premise and cloud-based software solutions. In addition, chart of accounts, forecasting, and business processes will be optimized to assure OHSU Healthcare has a strong foundation to support OHSU 2025 initiatives and beyond. These deliverables require an experienced Project Manager to lead this effort in a hospital environment. This position must work with all levels of the organization, including vice presidents, administrators, department directors, managers, staff, users as well as vendors, in the design, development, and implementation of healthcare finance and business intelligence applications on multiple technical platforms. This person will help coordinate and prioritize appropriate hospital finance, clinical, business intelligence analysts, and developer resources and contractors as needed to meet these deliverables. Healthcare project management experience, especially in relation to hospital revenue cycle and financial planning and analysis systems is strongly desired.Function/Duties of PositionThe Hospital Finance Systems Project Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of implementation of OHSU Hospital Financial Services projects and the required financial planning & analysis systems.
