Function/Duties of Position

The PBM Account Specialist provides support to clients of OHSU Pharmacy Benefit Management Services. Support includes but is not limited to implementation of pharmacy benefit management services, program development, business planning and reviews, implementation of legislative and compliance requirements, website content review, program materials and coordination of issue resolution for clients.

Required Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Public Administration, or a field directly related to the position will substitute for two years of the required experience. Note: preference in hiring may be given in a special area specific to the position opening
• Five years of experience with responsibility for program or project monitoring and coordination. The experience must have included program evaluation responsibility.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Visio, Word
• Pharmacy and Medical Claims adjudication knowledge
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in pharmacy benefit management, account management experience
• 3+ years health plan or PBM experience in account management
• Project management skills
• Team based process improvement skills
• Understanding of delivering on contractural obligations
