Job: Media SpecialistJob Summary: The Media Specialist will work closely with the IMATS and Sloate Media Center teams to serve teaching, learning, and scholarship needs at Barnard through media and media services. Reporting to the Associate Director of IMATS & Media Center, this job will include managing IMATS videography services at Barnard College; assisting the Associate Director with hiring, training, and scheduling of graduate assistants particularly in relation to videography; helping the IMATS department assistant as needed, such as with equipment purchasing and inventory; producing and post-producing robust, interactive, and innovative media assets for Barnard courses and internal communications; instructing students and faculty on technology and media tools via workshops and classes; creating tutorials and other instructional assets; supporting programming and operations at the Media Center; and managing communications / social media / event promotion for IMATS and Media Center.Please attach a cover letter to your application.
