The Psychology Department in the College of Science, the University of Texas at Arlington, invites applications for a full-time tenured appointment as the Lewis Hollweg Endowed Professor of Industrial and Organizational Psychology at the rank of Full Professor.
The Lewis Hollweg Endowed Professorship is named for Dr. Lewis Hollweg, a licensed psychologist in the Dallas/Fort Worth, TX area who focuses on the measurement and development of individuals and teams. He has spent decades as a consultant, including co-founding Batrus Hollweg Intl, an HR software and consulting company which is now part of IBM. Currently he serves as Chief Information Officer at Hollweg Assessment Partners, a DFW-area consulting firm. True to the scientist-practitioner model, Dr. Hollweg's vision for this professorship reflects both the theoretical knowledge of the foundations of I/O and the practical application of this knowledge to the development of successful I/O practitioners:
