Job OverviewOn a part-time limited basis, the Adjunct Faculty member's primary academic functions include teaching, discovering, creating, and reporting knowledge to a diverse set of students.
Part-time faculty must be able to teach Anatomy & Physiology I and/or II lecture and lab or Introduction to Pharmacology lecture. These courses are aimed at undergraduate nursing, dental hygiene, and allied health students.
Adjunct faculty members will be expected to (1) use our course management system (Canvas) and any textbook-specific systems; (2) hold regular office hours to meet with students and reply to student communications in a timely manner;; and (3) participate in at least one professional development workshop per year. All classes may be offered day or evening. Essential Functions
Required EducationMinimum of a Master's degree in a biological science field (General Biology, Physiology, Pharmacology, or related field). Additional Qualifications ConsideredAt least one year of teaching experience in a college setting is ideal.
