Department: Temp Center Position: Temporary Program Assistant 2 Northwestern University is seeking a temporary full-time Program Assistant 2 for the Evanston campus. Supports Directors of Graduate and Undergraduate Studies. Coordinates Ph.D. program’s admissions process, including planning and scheduling of recruitment weekend, entering admissions decisions and authoring offer letters. Responsible for all of department’s graduate student activities, including maintaining student records, managing and identifying procedures related to the program of graduate study, and assisting with registration, course offerings and teaching assistantships. Works with faculty to schedule and submit undergraduate and graduate courses each academic year. Enters and monitors graduate students’ funding. Maintains department website, writes for department website, manages department social media accounts, produces annual department newsletter, and communicates department announcements internally to faculty, staff and students. Oversees communications and logistics for all department programming, including production of flyers. Qualifications Required: A bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience; writing skills; High level of organizational skills and attention to detail; Diligent and can work independently; Experience working with confidential information; Professionalism; Flexibility, adaptability in a fast paced environment.
