Maria C. Levin, P.C. is seeking a part-time tax preparer (20 hrs per week*) to work at our office in Norwood, MA. Remote work is also a possibility.
Our office environment is fun, casual, and flexible. A perfect candidate would be a C.P.A. or E.A. with 3-5 years of experience looking to have work/life balance. A person that likes to work hard, but wants to dress casually, have flexibility with work schedule, and participate in fun work events.
*Hours can be expanded during tax season.
ROLE:
Preparation of 1040 and multi-state returns with a possibility of other entity returns
QUALITIES:
Delivers a quality product in a timely manner
Manage client relationships effectively
Manage multiple priorities
Able to research tax topics and explain tax concepts to taxpayers
Independent worker that also sees value in team-work
Detail-oriented and able to review work
Strong technical and communication skills
The Ideal Candidate:
C.P.A. or E.A. with a current license
3-5 years of individual tax preparation experience
Proficiency in Drake Software and CCH ProSystems is a plus
Ability to review returns is a plus
NOTES:
Telecommuting is allowed.
