RN - Craycroft - Part Time/Nights

JOB SUMMARY: This position is accountable for providing competent nursing care for patients with common health problems. This is an entry level position responsible for coordination of the patient's plan of care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing interventions that lead to established outcomes. This position practices under the direction of the designated nurse executive, within the scope of the Nursing Practice Act, and in accordance with Children's policies.

Craycroft is a 36-bed, acute care unit, caring for patients with potentially immuno-compromised conditions. This includes hematology, oncology, nephrology, rheumatology, and endocrinology patients.

REQUIREMENTS: A) a graduate from an accredited nursing program. BSN strongly preferred; B) an active California Registered Nurse licensure (RN); C) Life Support Certifications (see specifics below); D) experience to correlate with the clinical ladder level. Bilingual skills desirable.

Life Support Certifications Required: 1) Heart Code Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days; and 2) Pediatric Emergency Assess, Resuscitation & Stabilization within 12 months of hire or transfer into position.

POSITION DETAILS: Part Time, 5 x 11.5-hour shifts per pay period, Night shift

PAY RANGE: New Grad $33.65 - $61.20 / RN II - RN IV $36.00 - $61.20
