Family Health West is looking for a qualified Occupational Therapist to join our growing rehab team. The Rehabilitation Clinic is hiring an OT who is certified as a driver rehab specialist who is interested in joining our diverse team and is eager to expand the services for driving rehab needs to the western slope communities. Interested Candidates who have yet to attain their CRDS certification are still encouraged to apply if they are currently seeking CDRS certification or are interested in pursuing a CDRS upon hire.

FHW has a robust rehab program for inpatient, outpatient, pediatric, and community outreach service lines. We are a rural-based outpatient hospital rehab clinic serving a wide variety of patients across western Colorado. Our therapy department has a team of over 100 team members within the PT, OT, and SLP disciplines with an experienced staff who are serious about patient-centered care and great outcomes along with excellent customer service. Candidates for this position can expect a team-based atmosphere and clinical autonomy. We care for clients across the lifespan treating a wide range of diagnoses while also allowing clinicians to specialize in their distinct skill sets. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Requirements:

This unique position requires a health professional with an OT degree and CDRS (Certified Driver Rehab Specialist), who can expect a team-based atmosphere and clinical autonomy. This individual will plan, develop, coordinate, and implement driving services for individuals with disabilities. The evaluation process generally includes tests of physical function, vision, perception, attention, motor function, and reaction time, in addition to actual driving performance tests that can be conducted over the road in a properly equipped vehicle.

Wage Range: $37.00 - $52.85
