In addition to the CUNY Title Overview, the CIO will be responsible for the School???s overall technology infrastructure: strategy & planning; organization & operations; and, acquisitions & deployment. information systems, network communications, telecommunications, media services, instructional applications, information security systems, and campus technology infrastructure that will support our students, faculty, and staff;
-Manage the IT budget and propose budgets for out years; -Develop the School???s technology roadmap within the context of multiyear technology plans;
ensure solutions are meeting the changing demands within the College and are user-based;
security of college systems, data, applications, and information, as well as to meet the changing technology demands of the various School stakeholders;
the design and development of web-based application services;
re-engineer work processes, and remain current with trends and emerging technologies;
compliance;
within the campus and University-wide;
to improve customer service throughout the campus environment;
technology solutions and services that will produce strategic, operational, technology, and cost benefits for the School;
strategic priorities, goals, and objectives of the School;
to technology; -Develop ways for IT to engage with the campus community, e.g, security workshops, technology trends, brown bag lunches; -Other duties as assigned by the Associate Dean of Administration and Finance. NOTE : ??? Until further notice, work will be performed in a hybrid manner with 70% onsite presence. QUALIFICATIONS This position is in CUNY's Executive Compensation Plan. All executive positions require a minimum of a Bachelor's degree and eight years' related experience. Additional qualifications are defined below.

CUNY TITLE Professional School Assistant Admin COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS Salary commensurate with education and experience,from $155,000 - $165,000. Important Notice: Employees hired on or after October 1, 2022, and their eligible dependents, will only be eligible to enroll in the EmblemHealth HIP HMO Preferred Plan, and must remain in the HIP HMO Preferred Plan for the first year (365 days) of employment. After 365 days of employment, the employee will have the option of either remaining in the HIP HMO Preferred Plan or selecting a different health plan within 30 days before the end of the 365-day period. If a new health plan is selected, it will be effective on the 366th day. Only after the 365th day can the employee participate in any Annual Fall Transfer Period. An employee who needs to request an exemption from the required enrollment in the HIP HMO Preferred Plan can do so by submitting a HIP HMO Opt-Out Request Form to EmblemHealth directly.
