Preferred Qualifications:Experience with HVAC control systems pneumaticExperience with HVAC controls systems DDC Troubleshooting HVAC equipment Job Description:Facilities Planning and Management at Iowa State University seeks applicants for a Environmental Systems Mechanic II who will apply knowledge and skills to install, maintain, calibrate, and repair complex electronic building systems for building automation, HVAC and other complex building control systems. Duties include locating problems by monitoring systems, interpreting computer readings and conducting performance tests; monitoring systems through manipulation of software; and service as technical consultant in the area of computer-controlled systems. The duties of this position require: ability to lift to 50 pounds; manual dexterity and eye/hand coordination in order to perform variety of repairs in confined spaces; and physical agility to climb ladders.
